April Showers Bring May Flowers Workshop

Class Description

Join Makay Sweets at Garten Marketplatz for a one-of-a-kind cookie decorating workshop on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 from 1-4pm! Enjoy a perfect afternoon at this hands-on intermediate-level decorating class where all ages are welcome & all materials are provided! The workshop will include: • A 3 hour class where you will decorate 5 April Shower themed cookies and learn about royal icing techniques and consistencies • A Spring themed mocktail bar and snacks to indulge on during the class • Recipes and a class PowerPoint to go home with • And a whole lot of fun learning new skills! ▸ Registration will be open until 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 23rd, OR until we reach max capacity of 28 attendees. ▸ All attendees must have a paid registration. ▸ All ages are welcome, however, due to the pace of instruction & the techniques that will be taught, kiddos over the age of 12 typically have more success & fun. Children 12 & younger will need to be accompanied by a paid attendee over the age of 18. ▸ Tickets are not available on the day-of the class due to catering and preparation purposes. ▸ Makay Sweets Home Bakery is a registered cottage food producer by the state of Minnesota & is not subject to state inspection. Your cookies will be made in a shared kitchen that is not free of any allergens, including gluten, soy, dairy, wheat & nuts. CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to planning, preparation & venue fees, all tickets are non-refundable & non-transferable to future classes. If you are unable to make the class, there are two great options for you to choose from. 1. Pick up your kit the day of the class, or up to 2 days after the class. A powerpoint will be provided to all ticket holders that can be used to complete the class at home at your convenience. 2. You may transfer your seat to someone else simply by emailing Kandice at makaysweets@gmail.com with the name of the new attendee. If you are unable to attend & do not inform Makay Sweets, your kit may no longer be available to pick up within 2 days of the class. In the event that the class would need to be cancelled due to low attendance or unforeseen circumstances, your ticket may be transferred to a future class. PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE: By purchasing a ticket to this event, I hereby grant permission to Makay Sweets & the venue to use photographs and/or video of me & my guests on social media & other marketing or promotional purposes.
